Not as good as a BOGO fare sale, but if you’re travelling with a buddy somewhere on Amtrak between now and mid-December, you should check out the following fare sale. You pay regular price and your friend will pay 69% of the regular fare. The fare will only last until Monday, October 21, 2013. But it’s seriously got me thinking about a trip down to San Diego. The following routes are not included: Acela Express, Capitol Corridor, Cascades, and Thruway Busses 7000-8999.
